At Apple Orchard, we provide therapeutic care and education for young people with complex needs. Our homes are designed to support and nurture adolescent males who have faced trauma and exhibited harmful sexual behaviour. Through a tailored approach, we work alongside each young person to promote positive change, build confidence, and guide them toward a better future.
Our highly skilled team uses a variety of therapeutic models, including the Good Lives Model, to create a safe, nurturing environment where young people can heal and thrive. We believe in the power of relationships to drive change, providing a supportive community where every young person’s individual needs are respected.

Good Lives Model
We use a strength-based approach, focusing on each young person’s unique needs. Central to our work is the “Good Lives Model,” which guides our flexible, tailored therapeutic approach. Our expert therapists ensure that strategies for addressing harmful behaviour are always adapted to each individual’s needs, delivered through genuine, nurturing relationships. This approach aims to empower young people, helping them build positive futures with open, transparent goals in a supportive and caring environment.
Young people say that they feel well supported and are confident that staff understand them well. They describe feeling a sense of belonging at the home and also within the wider organisation.

Our Homes
Orchard House
Orchard House serves as the company Head Office and the Management, Education and Therapy Teams are all based there. All enquiries and referrals go through this office.
Oakdene
Oakdene is located between Horsham and Guildford, and has good access to both local amenities and the larger facilities that Guildford and Horsham have to offer.
Fastbridge Farmhouse
Fastbridge is a semi-independent home which has a particular remit to work with young people in ways which will foster increased independence.
Bramley
Bramley was our first home opening in June 1991, since the early days this home has been radically refurbished and developed to incorporate up to eight young people. It is situated in a small suburb of Guildford, Surrey.
